Wow, what a week we've had with the amazing and inspiring, Ema. She has created the most beautiful paintings to exhibit here at Recoat, aswell as painting the entire gallery space, painting a massive mural down at Kelvinbridge and another over at Boardwise on Dumbarton Road. She has worked so hard, and it all looks amazing. Make sure to pop down before the 9th Oct to see the show which includes a mixture of originals, prints and sculptures. You can buy any of the remaining work here and can view all of the photos of the murals, opening, artwork and exhibition here.

Ema has arrived in Scotland, she is busily drawing and painting inside and outside of Recoat Gallery. The work for the exhibition is beautiful and intricate, a series of ink paintings with art deco-inspired backgrounds that incorporate various influences including typography, 90's hip-hop, and 70's science fiction.

You can see the event on FB here. See more images here. Read more about Ema at her website. Trisickle just did a great wee interview with Ema, you can read it here.
